Project Overview

Situation

After winning awards across the board - National Press Foundation, Society for News Design, Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies and others, there was a need to continue to push the boundaries of innovative storytelling. AT&T needed ways to show businesses how 5G technology could shape the future of their business.

Task

Created a 5G lab within the Post’s Washington, D.C. headquarters. Learned and leveraged new products, tools and technology to create deep and beautiful stories for readers that otherwise would have been close to impossible to tell.

Action

In partnership with AT&T the Post leveraged new technologies with 5G devices yet to be released in-market including new Samsung phones, drones and other tools to enable reporters to tell stories faster and in a much more innovative format for readers.

Result

A multi-year strategic partnership with AT&T 5G B2B team with The Post’s Strategic Innovation team showcasing new tools comping for businesses while continuing to produce award winning innovative content.
